Probably so, but just to play it safe (and also because we lost power about 5 times last night) we decided to head up north with my mom to camp out at her place. We made the decision at about 5a this morning when a hurricane warning was issued for the Keys so its been a busy day with some rushed prep and a long drive attached. Nico, as always, wins the award for best baby traveler.
So no worries here. We're safe and sound and have lots of Twizzlers on hand. The old director of the National Hurricane Center called to check on us (well, his wife did, but still - I love it!). We're under a tropical storm warning here but we have a lot more access to necessities here than in the Keys.
Jason loves that the last time big storms hit Florida was 8 years ago when we moved away. And now that we're back? Well I guess its just a welcome home present!
In HUGE news, Nico rolled all the way over on her tummy tonight! Yay! (We'll have to try to get a video tomorrow.) The pics are from earlier in the day.
