We all went for our first official walk this afternoon in Nico's snazzy stroller. If it seems like a long time not to take a newborn on a walk, it has been - but for good reason. She was sent home from the hospital in a car bed and was released by her pediatrician to use a regular car seat yesterday on her 4-week birthday. Because of this we haven't been able to use a swing, rocker, or any other device that keeps the baby at an incline similar to that of a car seat. Here's hoping she takes to the swing right away and can rock herself to sleep!
Let's hope that her reaction to using the car seat in the car tomorrow will be better than when we tried it out this morning!
