a couple of pictures

We're all doing well, lots of recovery for Diana (she's only been able to get out of bed a couple of times so far) and its quite painful to move around at all.
Nico is doing great. She's quite cute ;)
And Jason is already wrapped tightly around her little fingers!

10 april 2012 biophysical

Our second biophysical appointment was yesterday. Baby did a perfect job of showing off for the sonographer and all still continues to look well. I doubt we'll be getting any more growth scans at this point because it gets really hard for them to see what's going on in the womb this far along.

She tried really hard to get a decent picture of baby's face, but baby was all squished and cozy and this is the best she could get.

The feet are looking much larger than even a few months ago!

The due date is in 3 weeks exactly! Remember to check back here frequently or sign up to follow the blog by email (on the right side of the page) so you can be updated when baby arrives. This will be the easiest way for us to notify the masses when baby arrives.

5 april 2012 sonogram

We had an extra sonogram yesterday. Everything looks good with the baby. Baby weighed in at 5lbs., 11oz. and between the 33rd and 45th percentile (the regular machine said 33rd... then they input the numbers into another program and it came back at the 45th). If I make it to 40 weeks baby is expected to be roughly 7.5lbs at birth.

We even got a little thumbs-up from the baby during the sono.

I know that might not look like a thumb, but she promised us it was!

3 april 2012 biophysical

Our doc called us in to do a biophysical profile on baby and we got a couple of quick images (below). It wasn't a regular sonogram where they take measurements but baby had a perfect score on the biophysical so good news there.

You can see the fleshy part of the face filling out more and more.

i've got to admit

I kind of like it when people I see on a regular basis are just now discovering that I'm pregnant.

P.S. And I kind of like it even better when they look at my belly, try and process what they see, and still don't mention anything.
